Wild poppy

Gift from the birds or the wind and I would have missed it were it not for organising a transfer of some young unidentified plants to another corner instead of the pebbles where they had grown from seed. It's miniature but oh so wild looking and was being smothered by a wild creeper, so I've cut it and taken it inside. Who knows I may use its seeds later to grow more of these beauties. Shocked by the gun attack on the most well-known crime-journalist/investigator in The Netherlands in plain daylight in the middle of Amsterdam. Criminals seem to get more ruthless every day. Whatever happened to our 'civilised' country ? Rhetorical question, btw, it seems the whole world is hardening and turning into some crime-ridden Wild West or mob country.
