Uncle

Worked from home in the morning and then headed over to see my uncle in the afternoon. He is now 83 and getting more hunched after his hip ops but was in good spirits. He was looking forward to his bus rally at the weekend in Essex, hope he is OK on it, as he hasn’t managed to get out on one for a while. Found out that J’s old school friend hadn’t bothered to book the nice restaurant we were going to go to, so a nice meal out with a good wine and some great steak was changed to the local pub to mum and dad with their kids and our two dogs. Food was nice and Darwin was generally well behaved. He really only barked when people startled him.
