“Oh what’s occurring?”

He's not stopping to find out.  We were first on the beach at Barry Island this morning. We enjoyed a walk in the breeze (gale), an ice cream in the sunshine and bought some tacky gifts for folk at home. 

We then headed up the valleys to Aberfan and Merthyr Tydfil.  Rather sad places both, very run down. 

We're spending the night in Brecon, in a hotel attached to a castle!
