Protest

Today there was a protest against the hospital in which I work having to sell off buildings and cut services. Despite the vile weather, there was strong support.

There was an interesting mix of people, from those with a very personal agenda ('The Whittington saved my baby') to the very political ('Proliteriat' ... 'Socialist Worker' ... anyone?). Conveniently, the march finished at the doors of the hospital during lunchtime and I was able to run out and grab some shots. It was a tough choice of image to blip, but the grim reaper posed so generously for me I had to choose him. I have posted a few additional images from the march here if interested.
