Ever hopeful.

Hoping this tiny tomato eventually will grow big enough to eat.
Outside, and at the moment getting blown to bits. It has certainly had enough rain, now needs some sunshine.

Have enjoyed watching the Le Tour.

A great win, made possible by his wonderful teammates.
Tomorrow it is in our neck of the woods. ( were we go on holiday). Mt Ventoux, but the first time they have done the climb it twice.
Just hope the thunderstorms hold off.

Have just had an email from our friends who moved to France on the 10th June.
G’s birthday today.
They are certainly enjoying themselves.
May be an article about them on the Travel Page of The Times this weekend. Not sure if it will be Saturday or Sunday. So will have to buy both. Don’t think our little shop sells it though!

A mixed day of rain and sunshine. Now windy which is certainly not what the garden needs.


Not much planned for tomorrow as we will be watching Le Tour , followed by the England match.
Fingers crossed ! Hope the game will be as good as the last one.
