The Big House

These are the houses of parliament, strategically positioned atop a big hill and towering over much of the city - power architecture matched by power politics. Every other day the government's need for power and control becomes clearer. Recent laws make it obligatory to register sim cards. Some larger funders have to channel their money through government-related funds, and there's a new registration body for NGOs - both designed to funnel resources to chosen, trusted NGOs who toe the line, and to starve and obstruct the less favoured groups.
