Home alone

A & her flatmates left just before lunchtime - I really enjoyed their visit. We have great fun playing Trivial Pursuit last night (an old  1983 edition we've hung on to so all the questions were history ! ) and which I'm won (yey me !).  They'd l brought us flowers and wine and also left a lovely card (with a puffin ! ).  A is lucky to have landed up with such good flatmates. 

T also headed down to Edinburgh to continue clearing the flat - we were worried with what we would find after last night's terrible rain but thankfully there was no damage. 

Bookgroup is meeting tonight in Edinburgh but I am unable to join them on this occassion as I need to be at my desk online tomorrow at 9.30 for my second intensive three day Gaelic Course.  I'm going to prepare for it by watching the final two episodes  of Crowdie & Cream /Gruth is Uachdar.
