Hergest Ridge

We’re away in Kington, Herefordshire overnight for Rs birthday tomorrow. It’s on the Offa’s Dyke National Trail so we walked a bit of it today from the town up to Hergest Ridge and back about 10 miles. Pronounced Hargest apparently. I downloaded the 1974 album of the same name by Mike Oldfield to play in the car as we drove over and was told it was “ a load of old guff”!
