Back breaking work ..

... this was going to be my derelict Sunday post for yesterday, but due to the power cut we had while the rain fell, I wasn't able to post it. Where J is working used to be the rockery 20 years ago, but he turned it into our patio and cut down a fir tree that filled the space.  He built a garden table on top of the tree stump and that has slowly deteriorated over the years so now it's time to dig it out. It took two days.  I will need time to tidy away all the debris then decide how to fill the space.
