Abdul and his dhow

Met Abdul this afternoon.   He was happy to pose for me next to his dhow.  He inherited it from his grandfather and it is 135 years old and is made from Indian Teak wood.

Bahrain recorded 146 new cases, 2 fatalities and 390 recoveries today

A Covid-19 Alert Level Traffic Light System based on Covid-19 positivity rates has been adopted in Bahrain
The system will help regulate sector operations and activities, and consists of 4 levels based on the average percentage of cases to tests, in addition to the level of occupancy in intensive care units, as follows:
- Green: When the rolling average percentage of positive cases out of tests carried out is below 2% for 14 days.
- Yellow: when the rolling average percentage of positive cases out of tests carried out is between 2 – 5 % for 7 days.
- Orange: when the rolling average percentage of positive cases out of tests carried out is between 5% and less than 8% for 4 days
- Red: When the rolling average percentage of positive cases out of all tests carried out is 8% or more for 3 days.

We have now entered the yellow level
