Mono Monday: Flower Power - The Power of the Poppy

If there was ever a flower that looked as though it might have been crafted out of tissue paper, then surely it is a poppy.  

The bees seem to love these large poppy flower heads, rolling around in the stamens making happy buzzy sounds as they do, which are amplified by the shape of the flower.   When they finally fly away they either seem slightly ashamed at taking time out from the serious business of bee-ing and perhaps even very slightly tipsy.  

Such is the power of the poppy in the world of bumble bees.
