Quiet (shhh shhh)

Up early - dancing for no 3. Coffee and chat for mum (quietest part of my day!).

No 2 had a Gymnastics competition this afternoon, Mr S was on taxi duty. The sports centre has a pool too, so he brought along No 3 for a swim. She can show off her newly-learned Butterfly stroke.

There was only 2 possible swimming strokes when I was learning to swim at school - doggie paddle or Old-Lady-breaststroke (where you stick your chin up in the air to stop the chlorine in the water getting to your blue rinse!). These were the days when you had to squeeze a condom on your head before you were allowed in the pool. We thought it was to stop the nits from swimming onto someone else!

Took No 1 for some mum/girly shopping. A few bits and pieces bought including a M&S 'ping' dinner. (you put it in the microwave until it goes PING).

I sneaked up to Balerno to grab a blip. The snow/sleet is back.

Quiet night in tonight. Taxi driver not required and she will probably have a pre-paddy's day glass or two to celebrate.
