2021 Sunday — America’s Birthday

America celebrated today in a teeny tiny town on California’s Central Coast — Cayucos. The annual parade was postponed one more year because of the pandemic, but the people created their own parade.

For me the parade started with a greeting from my “sister” Dawn from Bakersfield — Wow! She came right out of the crowd to greet and hug me. Only in Cayucos! Dawn is not really my sister; her mom married my stepdad Pops after my mom & Pops were divorced.

Our new friends, Tom & Joy, invited us to view from their place.
