Happy Fourth of July

Helena (seen here), Shelly and I drove up to my brother Steve’s for a 4th of July barbecue. Dave and Nora came up from Anacortes. Kai helped Steve put together a delicious spread and Steve used his new barbecue to make steaks, chicken and hot dogs. Also corn and zucchini. Kai made pasta salad and a strawberry rhubarb pie. What a feast. We all played croquet and talked and laughed a lot. It was a perfect way to celebrate the holiday.
