Deluge

A deluge of biblical proportions, can’t ever remember such a heavy spell of rain & hail here before. Had to get a bucket out to catch water coming in but I don’t think there’s a leak in the roof; the water was black so it was probably from one of the open chimneys. The downpour put a quick end to a wee street party for our new neighbours. They’re in a basement flat so I hope they didn’t get flooded or it’d be a pretty crappy welcome to the neighbourhood!
The extra is my party-nibbles contribution - buns of course, savoury and semi-sweet and good for soaking up Prosecco.
