4th of July

Independence Day.    245 years.   Usually we are at the island with one or more family(s) but for the second year in a row, we are in Seattle with no fireworks display on Lake Union.  Decided we needed to go see the grand dogs and families so had a chat with each… here’s a few family members …. There are lots of personal fireworks  making noise around the neighborhood but I couldn’t catch one.    I know the dogs are not happy. We ate on the roof deck  (extra) …first I’ve been up there…the usual band was playing on the floating home across the street but the trees have grown so much I couldn’t even get their photo.  So no red white and blue…. But a most pleasant outing for us.   Here’s the Empire State Building in NY from the tv for something festive. 2nd extra .
Edit.  A pretty decent display very late from gasworks park but I just couldn’t walk up to the deck again.   Crazy reflections in the window..3rd extra
