Happy Independence Day

It was a wet, cold, dreary fourth. No parades, no BBQs and no town fireworks. There were plenty of small, home shows that we could see from the house, which made my heart happy.

We had a family lunch, just the four of us. We lounged for most of the day, watched a couple of movies and ate snacks. It was a good day to do nothing.

Tomorrow is supposed to be nice again, back into the 80’s. We’ll be thankful for the warmth after this four day stretch of cool weather.
