The flues

Walk down the fields before breakfast and all the sheep were coming back from the farm buildings, think they have been up for a hair cut.
Walk out of the village and a nice circular route towards the chimneys, crossed the flues that run up from the old smelting works and back via the river path. The land looks quite rugged up here.not a long walk but really enjoyable.
Still a few Curlews around but not seen any lapwings this week.
Few more jobs this afternoon. Hubby has really bad pain in his back and having difficulties moving around, came on very suddenly just before dinner. It’s what he refers to as a known pain so he knows what to do, unfortunately it has been known to last a while.
