Nymph

This is the nymph of a dragon fly which spent most of it's life since last summer at the bottom of our pond. It is now time to climb out and transform into a dragon fly to begin a short life on land and air, finding a mate and laying eggs in the pond for the next generation. That's life! ...of the dragon fly.
