More redwood trees - I'm enjoying them so much in the shady valleys. In general, you can see how very dry the foliage is just looking at the forest from a distance. A lot of scrub clearing and tree felling near powerlines and homes has been done/is being done, and is very evident. In the extra, a distant view of trees damaged by last year's fires.
