Proud Granny Alert

Grandson Hamish took part in the Croyde Triathlon today - his second full tri and was outstanding, coming in 2nd overall. Wow.
This event is ranked in the Top 10 toughest triathlons in the World by 220 Triathlon and in Red Bull's "must do" events in the UK.
The 1500m sea swim in the cold Atlantic Ocean is followed by a 38 km out and back cycle course over the rolling Devon hills, before finishing a leg sapping 12 km run taking in the stunning coastal views and world-class surf beach at Croyde.
Last year Hamish did the same triathlon and came in 5th in his first attempt.  A fantastic achievement.
