Just as well

Just as well we decided to buy a gazebo on Friday because it rained and it rained and it rained!! Then rained some more!!!
This was a wee celebration for E as she was home and hadn’t seen close family and friends for a while. Every time we plan something like this at the time of year the weather conspires against us. Despite the rain we had a great afternoon, lots of great food cooked on the bbq by G with an umbrella!! , lots of laughs and chat.
We were thinking about how many of E’s 22 birthdays were actually on great weather days  and we reckon about 10/22 were lovely!! When she was six we had a bouncy castle in the garden and there was a thunderstorm! The day E was born(2nd July) was a gloriously hot day. G had to go and change into his shorts as the hospital was very warm! I just sweated!!
Thanks to the gazebo we were dry and able listen to the rain battering down!
Never a dull moment.
