trip to the bank

After the rains of the past few days it was a pleasant surprise to have bright sunshine today. Going to the bank is something I do not enjoy as there are usually long queues and it can take over an hour. For a country which is extremely poor, we have some impressive banks in Mzuzu and a new Reserve Bank is being built at present.

We are supposed to be one of the top 10 poorest countries in the world. I sometimes wonder what our banks would be like if we were one of the top 10 wealthiest countries!!

Note the yellow Cassia tree in the bankground - these trees are all over the city of Mzuzu and are beautiful at this time of the year too!
