Grey Heron

Couldn't find the young one today. Was all set to give up when she flew over. Was about half way through her fish when the swan appeared, however she just walked along the clearing to a point where a tree blocked the swan's view and we carried on with her fish.

I just noticed yesterday was a year since I first saw the young one although I did not know her from any other heron- it all changed when the loch froze over in March.
