Dredging the river

While we have been enjoying ourselves in Cornwall, The Environment Agency have been busy dredging the river Derwent in Cockermouth.

The river levels are really low at the moment, so it's an ideal time to do it.

We are off to see Kathryn Tickell tonight...she plays Northumberland pipes. Amazing!. It's Cockermouth Live this weekend. Lots of music in lots of venues!
