Sign of the Times

I've used one of those free lateral flow tests for Covid 19  today and am pleased to report its negative.  You can see this above, there is no line by  the T. The line by the C means I did the test correctly. 
A friend who had been drinking coffee in my garden some days ago has tested positive.  He's not listed me with Test and Trace because he does not think our contact was close enough  but I wanted to reassure him by doing a test .  Interestingly his partner with whom he has been camping for the last week has also tested negative after a proper PCR test.  Both have been double jabbed with  AZ some while ago.  He noticed a sore throat at the top of Helvellyn a few days ago which was likely the first sign, but yesterday he lost his sense of taste so went for a test. 

They've managed to find an AirBnB in which to self isolate because they don't relish the prospect of another two weeks' camping. Its been very wet today and more forecast all week. And luckily the negative partner had bought a load of books in a 2nd hand shop so they got lots to read!

If you haven't sent off for some of those free tests, do it because you never know when you might want to do a test. MrP  didn't have any but  has sent off for some today.
