Unexpected Sunshine

I was expecting it to rain all day today so the appearance of the sun this afternoon has come as a pleasant surprise. We stopped on our way home from Birmingham so that I could take a shot of our local stretch of canal.

Rob's team lost 3-0 this morning, it was a very fast paced match played on an artificial surface that the home team were obviously very comfortable with. Conceding 3 early goals meant the game was lost by half time - a shame really as our team adjusted well to the conditions in the second half!

Looking forward to watching the rugby later....an easy pasta dinner and a glass or two of wine may feature as well!
