Abstract project

Cold damp day. (Sore knee.) I've enjoyed staying indoors and trying out another idea for my abstract project.

I want to create some images using floaty, sparkly materials I brought back from India three years ago. This image is created from two of the material, which is purple suffused with gold threads, and a third image of a purple streptocarpus flower.

You will see that a few layers were involved. In the end I decided to opt for a mono image because that showed up the threads more clearly. Then I added a tint. All good fun and I think I like the result. I'm looking for something ethereal. All photography was done inside a white light tent.
