Full to bursting!

This fuzzy little bee buzzing about on the brown knapweed has filled his pollen sacs to bursting point ….. looks like he needs to nip home to empty them.

The White Cart is so low that there is very little water tumbling over the weir. There was an opportunity this morning for one of the park staff to tackle the fallen tree which had been balancing on the top of the weir for a considerable time. I was offered a shot with the chain saw but I didn’t want to get my shoes wet!

Overcast but very warm and muggy again today so after my walk this morning I am happy to sit in my favourite chair and watch the tennis
