Here are the beautiful fields at East Kilbride, blipped as I headed over to Newton Mearns see mum today.

Us and the neighbours were meant to be going out to the recently refurbished Ship for dinner tonight, however, we got cancelled by the bistro because so many of their staff were having to self isolate … oh well, we are having takeaway instead. Actually, it’s probably wise as our Scottish COVID figures are pretty dire just now. Best to keep a relatively low profile and keep some distance.

The rain has been pelting down this afternoon too … doesn’t seem much like high summer, lol.
