We hosted a Ghanaian Funeral at church today. I personally don’t know the family, other than one son.

As a staff team, we had a lot to learn, to do things ‘right’ for them. It reminds me of a Ghanaian wedding we hosted a few years ago. We didn’t know quite how much we had to learn before that event, but we certainly recognised our ignorance during and after. It did make us laugh & wonder then, because it was a wedding and it was still beautifully done.

We didn’t want to laugh today and it was beautifully done.
