Within 15 minutes…

Even though the Tweed was exceptionally low we were off to a great start with a beautiful wild brown trout 15 minutes into casting on day one. Reckoned it was between 2.5 and 3 lbs.

Alas the conditions won, and apart from half a dozen feisty but small 6inch brownies and a couple of Salmon Parr, this was the best catch of the two days. A sea trout was briefly on the line but only for a second or two before it was off…
