An Afternoon in Rhos

I had to take the dogs to the new vets this morning as they need their kennel cough vaccines for the new  doggy day care - they're only going to go every now and then, but it's necessary for them to be able to mix with the other dogs.  Anyway, the new vets seemed really nice and they had already obtained their records from our vet in Brighton.

On the way home I stopped off at the local hand car wash as my car was in desperate need of a good clean - bad idea with the boys in he car!  Milou was fine, but Bobbie wasn't happy at all and kept barking and trying to attack the jet spray.  Then when the guy was drying the windows I literally had to pin him down as he was in attack mode!   I've never seen him like his, and when we got home he slept for most of the time, I think it had really stressed him out, poor boy.

This afternoon I took Norma for a stroll in Rhos-on-Sea which was lovely.  We walked along the seafront and then had a mooch in the shops - Norma treated me to a new top and a little bag, she bought herself a bag and tried on some shoes.  They didn't have her size in the colour she wanted, but the lady checked their stock in other branches, and they have them in Llandudno, so she's arranged for them to be put aside and we'll go and collect them tomorrow.

We went and and sat in the sun and had a drink at a local cafe before wandering down to the beach where Norma sat on a bench while I went down onto the beach to take some photos.  Then before heading home, we picked up an Indian takeaway and got back just as Alan was finishing work.   It's been a lovely afternoon, and we spent the evening in the conservatory chatting
