Long day

I spent much of the day with my mom - mostly she slept. She said she’d been awake early and was tired. Late this afternoon a dear golfing buddy asked if I was interested in a 9 hole round of golf. We rented a cart and played the back nine - it was perfect. No one around, the breeze was lovely and we had a blast. I even pared a difficult hole! Granted, the rest of my game wasn’t terrific:-)

These Allium sphaerocephalon or Drumstick Allium are in full bloom for the first time in my garden. I went out late…past 7pm, and found that every drumstick had a bee on it! Super fun.
