Muttley's Musings

By RuralDave

Friday Night is Brazilian BBQ Night!

So at the end of my first week back in Guyana we went to the Brazilian BBQ bar and grill for a very good meal. Here you go and help yourself to the salads and side dishes, and then the guys come around with the really long skewers on which the various cuts of meat are BBQ'd, and they slice the meat off the skewers for you.

This shot is one of the Brazilian guy's who serves here about to carve up the chicken sausage. That was very tasty as was the steak, but who would argue with this guy?

They also serve Caipirinha cocktails here. They are very very nice, but very very strong. They are made of white rum, a but of ice and sugar and a bit of lime, but mostly it's rum.
