More ill health

The Mrs was feeling rotten today so she left our cycle tour early :-( We saw some of the lovely (and crazy) buildings in the Lumbini Development Zone, basically a united nations of Buddhist monasteries. This shot was taken outside the Chinese one where they were filming a music video which was good fun to watch for a while.

In the pm we all (me, the Mrs and Tammy) manged to visit the Maya Devi temple, the actual place where the baby buddha was born. Apparently he could walk as soon as he popped out :-)

There were buddhists from all over the world meditating and chanting and it was really nice.

We had a late dinner with Tammy and said our goodbyes, we are back to Pokhara tomorrow and Tammy will ultimately be heading south to India. She is a wonderful lady and we have really enjoyed spending time with her over the last 4 days, I think she feels the same, despite the conjunctivitis....
