The annual Cashel walk

This evening the daughters and I made our annual pilgrimage to Cashel forest to remember the late ex-Laird Freuchie on his birthday. Five years tomorrow since he died.

Today's blip was taken in the same spot as two years ago, but there was a difference in the sky. Ominous dark clouds were looming...

Sure enough, having almost completed our usual circuit through the forest, including an offshoot up to the viewpoint - see extra -  the heavens opened for the last few hundred yards and we were like drowned rats by the end. Drowned but exhilarated!

Extra  -  Was this a sign, we wondered?
