In transition

Having woken up very early I made an early trip to the allotment, did a bit more digging, strimming, and some seed sowing (better late than never). I almost strimmed this weed and its lodger but fortunately the bright colour alerted me. I guess it's nearly a ladybird!

Hmm, don't like the look of next week's weather forecast. 'Slow-moving heavy downpours...'
