Juneberries

The berries from the amalanchier are beginning to ripen.  A couple of years ago I harvested enough to make an excellent pot of jam.  Last year the birds got in first and stripped the tree of all its berries and denied me the opportunity.  Looks like this sparrow is getting ready for a future meal.
