Of a problem is always difficult to work out.

Today was a contemplate type of day wondering how to provide a suitable surface for tiling my new hearth - then decided to drill loads of holes in the existing very smooth tiles. That was when I realised that they were not very secure having done 2/3rds. Now do I try and carefully lift them and hope the base is sound or continue with the SFS drill….?
