Cowdenknowes House

This is the big house of the estate where I was staying, my cottage being the building which heated the glass houses where apricots and peaches were grown. Cowdenknowes has a long history, part of it being medieval. There's some more about its history here. I blipped this on a walk with J, using two cars so we could do a linear walk from my cottage to Leaderfoot.
