Master of Disguise

The moth trap was full to bursting this morning! There were two of these Buff Tips - one of my favourites. It really looks like a small birch twig.
I did a butterfly survey at Longshaw today. It started well - two Dark Green Fritillaries, a Small Tortoiseshell and a Small Heath - then nothing! Still, it was a lovely walk, as always.
