Who's calling?

I think our thumbs will change, genetically, in the next couple of generations, due to our excessive use of smartphones, my self included. Unless of course technicians develop, let's say voice activating goggles with a screen on the inside. That's not science fiction, but a very possible outcome.. Meanwhile we will start suffering from sore and aching joints and muscles in the thumb area..
