Think Outside the Box

Twenty four years ago I took a sabbatical from teaching to study issues of creativity in the classroom.  I did a report that I titled "Beyond the Box".  That's what popped into my head when I saw this Rudbeckia which had sprouted outside the planting box.  It was if it had said, "So, Sun Drops, if you are going to hog the planting box I will find my own place to grow!"  It made me smile and I left it to find its own way.  Rain has started and it will shower off and on for the day and into tomorrow.  Such a relief!  The Sun Drops and Rudbeckia are very happy.  Our temperatures have taken a nose dive too and will only be in the low 60's for the next three days and that is a great relief as well.
