Beautiful Hellebore

My hellebores don't look as they are going to be much good this year. They usually bring me much joy but are not thriving at all. Time will tell
Out of bed early this morning and in the garden at 8am just as it was getting light. The man came to prune my 65 roses ranging from miniatures to huge climbers. I like to work alongside of him and cut up all the pruning's into the bin and am there if he wants to discuss how hard he is going to cut back or whatever. He is such a nice guy and used to be in charge of the roses at the Botanic Gardens so knows what he is about
