Player piano

Today we looked at a USA made M. Schulz and Co. piano, or as we call it, a pianola.  This one was from the early 1930's. It also had about 50 piano rolls to go with it. Unfortunately the player part of the piano is no longer working.

They said that it would cost thousands of dollars to fix the player, and that sort of money is not normally spent on an old piano. It sounded beautiful when the owner played it, and the condition was immaculate.
