Coming in to land

I've not had much luck catching birds on the feeder of late. I'm probably pushing my luck with how close I'm putting the tripod to it.

Nevertheless, I gave it another bash this morning and caught this little sparrow. He was coming in for a second pass after having been frightened off by the, frankly deafening, sound of the D70's shutter.

The wee fella's a bit out of focus, which is a tad frustrating. But the battery's dead so, it'll have to do.
