Dried Up

Wrong place, wrong time?  Simply rotting away.
Rain fell in some areas last night causing flash floods, downed trees and power outages.  Not a drop here, but much cooler (mid-90's).  At the moment, the sky looks pretty ominous. C'mon, rain lords.  No more shriveling cactus!

The carpet replacement was completed today and it looks terrific.  Now it's just a matter of (mostly) moving clothes into the closet and hanging stuff on the walls.  I also had the pneumatic closer replaced on my steel security door.  It was closing on my heel before I could open the interior door and step inside. The last thing I got done was to have my property, inside and out, sprayed by my bug man, Steve.  Now that it's so humid (really humid!) all sorts of creepy crawlers will appear. I apologize to all blip creepy crawler lovers but I can do without spiders, centipedes and scorpions inside the house.  Did you know that scorpions are great crawlers, including into your bed?   NO, NO, NO, NO, NO!!!!!!!!
