We made it!

It’s been the strangest year but my school has made it to the end of term.... earlier than originally planned when the year began but this was due to our Easter holiday being made much shorter at short notice to get the GCSE and A Level students back after the lockdown for as much classroom time as we could before their exams.

We sent the children home at noon and the whole staff got together on the field for a “working lunch” (named as such to be allowed under current restrictions) or mor suitably called “BBQ with speeches”. Everyone spread out and we had some good food before saying cheerio for the summer.

So tired. Time to rest.
