New RHS Hilltop building at Wisley

The new building was opened last week so I went early today to check it out and the gardens around it. It is am impressive building with lots of info and displays about the work of the RHS inside, plus a restaurant. 
The planting outside has grown well and looks very luxuriant. The veg garden puts our allotments to shame…I’m sure they must use so much manure and have automatic watering systems installed too.
There is also a library full of gardening books etc. open to the public.

I went at 9.30…by 11 it was very very busy.  Big queues to get in. They are letting so many more people into the garden plus coach parties and school parties have returned too.

I will visit again soon with a keen gardener friend.
